Hey Becca

Hey Becca!
How are you doing? How was your girls' camp?
I go to my girls' camp on Tuesday and am SUPER EXCITED!! I've been packed for a week!
I went to the family search center on Temple Square on Wednesday...it was actually really awesome. I found quite a few records for my family. Have you ever done geneology?
Waiting for school to start so I can bug you during lunch...and so you can be my tutor in Algebra...

Lagoon-A-Phoon

Hey Becca!
I got a lot of catching up to do. Monday I went to Lagoon with my friends from Legacy. It rained a little bit, but for the most of it it was sunny and warm. You were right- the bombora was super short!! I also went on the Wicked for the first time (twice) and it was awesome. On the second round we were singing Princess Pat: A Rigabambu and Once there was a Snowman, primary songs. The lines were very short....the minimum wait, probably about 2 minutes, the maximum wait, probably about 7-10 minutes. It wasn't very crowded at all.
Unfortunately, we had to put down my cat Cutie on Monday also. My dad is allergic to cats and so we had to put her down, since she would most likely have a heart attack or die of stress and fear in a Pound. It was her birthday, too. We are still trying to figure out what to do with Bucky...but I'll let you know when we do.
On Wednesday, I went to the Salt Lake Temple with my Beehive Group...since everyone else is going to Youth Conference up in Bear Lake. They actually don't use the grand doors on the outside of the temple. There are two entrances, one off to the side that goes underground, and another that leads to the basement Font level. You ring a doorbell to get to the Baptistry about 50 feet outside the temple. The baptistry is on the lower floor as usual. The tone to the doorbell is We Thank Thee O, God, for a Prophet. They have to unlock the door for you and they check your recommend and give you a sticker. Very high security, but I guess since it is in Salt Lake City, you'd have to. The building is different also...and so are the ways you do the baptisms...but still the same concept and procedure, except for you wear socks. I was basically face to face with a golden ox.
Well, enough about me...what about you? Love you.
Julie.

p.s. I'm turning into a Becca, I read over 680 pages in four days...two books!! SAVE ME!!

Welcome to Julie's Awesomeness (feel free to bask in it for $30 an hour)

Hello Audience! My name is Julie the Awesomer and I think that you should already know that though.
If I didn't know your name then why would I be here?
Because you want to explore the world-known wonder of the awesomeness of Julie Herdt!!
And that's in Syracuse.
Do people actually know about your wonder of awesomeness?
Yes...duh, don't ya watch the news? At 3:00 this afternoon Obama officially declared my birthday a sacred nation-wide holiday and asked me to put him on my Facebook Friends List which I don't have.
I do watch the news and that never happened, so I don't know what you are talking about. I think you just had too much sugar.
Well, of course you wouldn't know because you were over at MY HOUSE - but Pres. Obama told me that he would say that beforehand. So, HAHAHA!!
